CUCC 82nd Anniversary, A Success!
CUCC celebrated it's anniversary last June 28, 2009 with its continuing theme of "Expanding Borders, Discipling Nations". A thanksgiving worship service was conducted in the morning with Rev. Jobel Inocentes (District 1 Superintendent) delivering the powerful message of.. Included in the morning service was the baptismal of 15 new members with some sharing their touching testimonies, the launching of CUCC website, Everybody's Birthday! (bringing in of offerings) and Joint Choir presentations. Ending the morning gathering was the lunch served to continuously enjoy the fellowship.
At 3:00pm, the 6th Cell Group Celebration started. It was attended mostly by brethren in the cells with their invited friends and loved ones hear the powerful, life-changing testimony of Bro. Edwin Samot (a former gay now changed by the Lord and is now reaching to others as well). In the end it was a victory for the Lord as souls were added to His kingdom! Praise God! Also, brethren from Carissa Outreach and the Sunday School Dept. rendered their special presentations as well.
Truly the event was a momentous one. As CUCC gears off for this last years theme, may we be like Israel in the times of Isaiah as commissioned by God to, "Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes."
Expanding the Kingdom... To God be all the glory!

Carissa Unida Christian Mission Celebrates its 12th Year Anniversary last July 25, 2009.
